I was there, it was bloody freezing though so I don't blame anyone for not going. It also looked like it was going to start pouring out west just as soon as most people would have been heading out, so they may have changed their plans at the last minute.

I agree it was the coldest I have felt in a very long time.

Should have sat in the Eels Supporters bay! Was nice and warm thanks to the Sun for All of the 1st half and some of the 2nd. I was lucky to be in Row GG which was undercover so Even when it rained hard during the NYC Game / Stephanie Rice Final / Womens 400 M Relay, I was comfortable all day.

Im not concerned about yesterday I just want to see us pack the house next Monday against the Tigers.

We all know the Tigers supporters are the best supporters in Sydney and they will be at the stadium in numbers. My advice for non season ticket holders is to get in early this week. This one might be a sell out!!

I would be very suprised if we don't get 18K+ - VERY SUPRISED!!

It was freezing during the NYC game!!!!!

The idiots had the race on both screens and then moved it to only 1 screen and i could barley see it, stupid SFS staff!!!!! As if i wanted to see the Eels losing anyways (we were getting pummeled at that stage)

The AGL building in Bondi Junction said it was 5C on the way home. With a wind chill factor is must have a few degrees colder than that. F**king cold.

Spare a thought for the Penriff fans. Not only did they get pantsed but it SNOWED at the game yesterday.

Pffft, wimps.

The day before I did a pub crawl for the buck's night. Started at Mt. Victoria and wound our way down the mountain 'til the wee hours of the morning. Got colder each time we got to a new pub.

Sydney, cold? Pffft, wimps.

Exactly. I took the Suits up to the mountains yesterday - the kids wanted to see the snow - and we saw heaps.
Cold - pffftttt.

Try going to a Premier League game in the middle of an English winter, and the game is delayed so the under pitch heating can defrost the pitch!!

1 You were crawling, 2 you were drunk, that helps stave off the cold.

I am pretty sure we all know why premier league teams sing, and keeping warm might be a side effect.

They're wimps, Suity, and we know it. They can deny it all they want, but the poor little city babies can't handle a wee bit of frost.

Not like my illustrious self - a man with the chilly mountains bred into his soul. Not like your illustrious self - a working man who has toughed out the elements throughout his life in order to ensure that his job gets done.

Wimps.

Just a shame you couldnt handle a big night and had to spend the day getting over it rather than being at the game ;-)

But yeah, bit of cold, bit nof rain, and people stay away. We dont know cold in this country

It seems all of us complaining about the cold and wind actually went out to the game, while those that didn't are labelling us 'wimps' ;-)
