As far as I know he said they were unprofessional in comparison to the game they adjudicate. Which is technically correct.

Technically correct?? Tony Williams put down must was extremely unprofessional. That try would have won the game. Maybe Hasler should have went in and told the media how disgraceful that was. He is clasping at straws. His team is not going well. His coaching does not suit the up tempo style the two refs bring, and so he is looking for excuses. Thats the difference between him and great coaches. Great coaches, like Bennett, can adjust their coaching styles to adapt to how the game is evolving.

So, Des - stop bitching and appreciate the fact you still get a leg-up from the refs - especially at Brokevale.

In the past coaches have been fined for almost always insinuating that referees are targeting their team, or biased against their team in some way.

Hasler, reading from his prepared statement made sure he didn't do that.
