He's just saying he'd prefer to start, hardly whinging. He isn't saying "Start me or I'll take my ball and go to Rugby Union". Fair enough, Bailey is one of the best props in the game, the same can't be said about Cross in the centres.

exactly what i was going to type. bailey didn't have to say a word. barring injury he was always a certainty, whereas Cross had very strong competition from Gasnier, Cooper, and King.

As a Queenslander, Scott Prince didn't do himself any favours in my eyes with his media campaign for selection. I wasn't fussed on Bailey's quote either but, as someone else said, Cross has form for this sort of thing and at least Bailey wasn't on his knees with his mouth open.

Anyone who beleived that Ryan Cross would come within a bulls roar of a blue jersey is living in the land of make beleive. Cross is a hack who has been shown up time and time again. Not in the same class as Gasnier, Cooper or King.
