i know they have to justify expenditure but its not like a bank that is just there to make money and nothing else

You're right that profit isn't their sole goal, but to do what they do costs money, and in the long run to do what they do better costs more money. Therefore the more they bring in, the more they have to spend, the more resources they have to draw on.

I can reveal that I was entirely selfish. I voted for all games at Parra with zero at regional areas and ANZ.

Not sure if that's financially feasible, however I expect that a competitive team together with a better game day experience (facilities) will go a long way to achieve the goal.

Gee. Thanks Gronk!!!!

Thanks for posting that Tony.

It's good to know that the ANZ lovers are in the minority :)

Im hearing that the remaining game is most likely to be played at ANZ and that there was an opportunity to have that game against the Dogs so we could. share our home and away games which would have given members of both clubs another game included in our membership. Rumour has it though that the extra ANZ game could be against the Tigers. If true it doesn't make very good business sense to me for us to not at least gIve our season ticket holders the best value for money and especially when you consider how unpopular ANZ seems to be.

dogs? ANZ? ... did i read this wrong? .... we already do play both anz games against the only 2 anz tenants so we get our reciprocal games free

the tigers is always close to a sellout - seems wise to make it the 3rd anz game

Or worst case scenario, R26 Eels (12th) v Tigers (13th) playing off for the Cameron Blair Cup in an underattended 80,000 capacity stadium.... ;-)

No I wrote it wrong. I just heard that there is a problem with reciprocal rights between us and the Dogs but as I said it's only a rumour and I'm not sure if there is any truth in it at all. For some reason playing the Tigers there had something to do with it from what I was told but again I don't know how reliable that info is - you are probably right though.
So long as our season ticket holders get the best value for money it doesn't matter what they do but the majority who completed this poll wouldn't agree in any case that any additional game at ANZ equals value for money.

quantity over quality is not necessarily value for money
