17 Johns? Young? Does it matter because AOB is fine not using the 17th bloke unless forced.
Have to have some desire and hope.Ignore game results and the ladder, have any of our performances looked like a team that's close to finals bound?
Ok but what's the alternative? Name the same 17 and tell them it's ok but you better aim up this week - which is the line we've probably told the players for the past month.Would that be the most inexperienced backline ever named in the NRL era? And two total games between Sasagi and Johns off the bench...

You'd think Lee would be back before Pearce is1. Ponga
2. To'a
3. Jones
4. Best
5. Hunt
6. Crossland
7. Pearce
Ponga is still a god on his day. I would instruct him to never run the ball out from our half. Let Hunt and To'a do all the work. Ponga conserves his energy to back up on breaks and should get the ball 3 times a set. If he can produce magic 3 out of 10 times, we just need to make sure we up the percentages.
Jones is young, inexperienced and not a centre but he is by far our best option we have. He is an old head in a young body.
Pearce just stick to what he does well. Defend hard, keep up the intensity. Let Crossland do everything else.
I think there is some winning in that backline. Let's just hope we can keep it on the park.
Sounds like you are looking at avoiding the dreaded spoon rather than looking at top 8The win and big losses to Wests and The Titans helps us out just a little.
Only one point difference on F/A between us and Wests now. Make that up and it could count.
Ahead of Wests on points.
