Where to now for Brothers?????

Does anyone know where Brothers stands now - with the destruction of the joint venture? Does the club still exist in theory? Is there a chance of it reappearing in any guise in the near future?

And about the aftermath of their explusion from the Qld Cup?

The joint venture were not expelled. They failed to comply with the entry requirements. They were then given an extension to apply for the Mixwell Cup competitions and did not apply. This all came after a boardroom split mid 2004.

What a shame after all the hard work to get back in.....

People close to the club are keeping very quiet about any plans for the future.

Yep. Valleys dont exist in any form but memories. IE No club, no board, no members etc. Their junior club still exists but they have no involvement whatsoever.

The only way for the club to exist in any long term form is as a single entity - Brothers - no other club has across the state support like this one - despite their best efforts to disenfranchise supporters
