Where to now for Tim Lafai?

Incident happened last month has really just summed up his seasons at the Saints. Playing NSW cup, very sub-par footy and now it seems Aitken and Milne have locked up their position till next season. Do we look elsewhere and try to get Lafai off the books? Or does anyone see any positives for him to stay at the Dragons?

Rumour going around at the moment we've been trying to shop him around however theirs been no takers. Can't see him getting a first grade spot at any other club so he'll either have to go to the Super League or bide his time in NSW Cup with us or another club, he's turned in to Nielson V2.

Once again a negative on Marys ability to recruit properly
I agree St Georgio! At the time of the great centre merry-go-round there seemed this excitement and desperation that we must get someone out of it. I hadn't watched much of Lafai but I saw enough of Matu'atia to think he was worth perservering with. So to sign Lafai and then release Matu'atia seemed illogical and a wasted effort. But then to keep picking Lafai ahead of Milne when he showed he was a disappointment just added to the sense of poor management. I remember Mary justifying his non-selection of Milne against the Warriors one week after his debut against the Roosters on the basis that with Thompson suspended Matthews had to play in the forwards and could not share game time with Milne in the centres. Milne has managed 80 minutes, no worries, since his overdue promotion. Another Mary Press Conference classic!

He should go to England because if he doesn't make it in the ESL he could try his hand in the movies as he would be perfect to star in a remake of the 1956 classic "Reach for the Sky".
