He may well end up at London Broncos, playing alongside Jamie Soward, for the period from after his arraignment at Waverley Court on July 16th until his trial begins in October or November.

London Broncos need Blake Ferguson because they are still in the Challenge Cup. London play in the quarter finals against second division team Sheffield in July (Ferguson will miss that game and London will win that one easily with Jamie Soward). However London will need him for the semis against a powerful SL team, with the reward of victory a place in the final at Wembley in front of 82,000 screaming fans. Blake will love that opportunity.

London Broncos is the perfect fit for him.

The raiders have no option but to sack him...

You can not keep saying last chance, last chance etc as this sets a precedent that other players must all have 50 chances as they given to fergo.

You can not keep him cause he might sign with another club.

Raiders should sack him and the NRL should make him sign a rookie incentive based contract if he signs with another club.

At this stage my only concern is whether we'll get him back before the finals. Hopefully a 6-8 week suspension.
Then as long as we make the finals we'll have Edrick and Fergo back before week 1. Good times

If an NRL player is found guilty of indecent assault he would be suspended for the season by the NRL/Raiders at the very least.

should be sacked by the raiders... no way they can keep him....

raiders would have to seek approval of sponsors to keep him

If he's found guilty there is no way he's back this year, we'll have to wait until round 1 next year to see him back in lime green (forget about kmav, unless the NRL give us some iron clad guarantee that he wont be playing for another club any time soon, we're not sacking him)

But if found not guilty i would assume he will be free to play the following week.

you don't think the raiders sponsors would need to be consulted ?

I have no doubt they will be consulted, and i'm sure like they have for all over matters, continue to support the club and their decisions, as they have done previously

If they dont, meh. We're on track to go back to back finals for the first time in over a decade, we finally look to be taking a young talented squad and going somewhere with it. If they dont want to be apart of that, so be it.

But i dont think we will need to worry to much about that. Huawei dont seem to actually care too much about what goes on, i doubt they are going to threaten to pull the plug, the others are easily replaceable if they want out.

finding and keeping sponsors is not easy considering all the sporting codes.

attracting and keeping raiders female / families will also be a problems if your team has potentially a player convicted of indecent sexual assault.

If Joel Monaghan left the club after sexually assaulting a dog dont you think this is worse ? :D

This is way worse than what they sacked Dugan for. Raiders will go soft and keep him but I can understand why, that'd be pretty unlucky if they lost both of them in the same season.

If he's found guilty he'll most likely cop a lengthy ban from the NRL itself.
