Where will the knights finish?

I have us coming 10th (26) :(

Only because of what I am witnessing on Fox. Canberra are carving up the Panthers at will.

Doing that ladder predictor it still shows to me that 28 points get you 7th or 8th and 30 points gets you 6th spot. It is all about finishing 6th at the end of the regular season.

I think we will come 8th - 10th.

Unless we somehow beat the Raiders, I can't see us finishing any higher.

Well done Penrith. You couldn't have given Canberra more confidence if you tried.

Next Sundays game is guna be a ripper! bring it on!

7th to 9th IMO.

We'll beat the Titans. Might be able to get the Raiders if we can stick with them, they are good front runners, not good at chasing points I don't think.

Cowboys should be beatable but they will prob have Thurston back and trying to avoid the spoon, still though we should be too good.

The last 2 are too hard to pick, but I think the Broncos are very beatable.

Wish we'd already played before Canberra did that to Penrith. A lot of upsets occur when the favoured team has a big match looming the following round. I have already heard a couple of Knights players mention the Canberra game in interviews this week. There's a reason for the old adage about what you should take at a time. Hopefully the boys have their minds on nothing else but the Titans right now.

If we are fearing Canberra then we have got problems. I think we might be their reality check this week,

We will beat Canberra. We are a better football side. I cannot believe how negative some people are getting here . We are flying. We smashed the Titans and eels. Eels were full strength and just recently beat the roosters. We are THE DARKHORSE without a doubt and our attack is brilliant at the moment. I reckon we will hand Canberra their a### and end their season as they will go south from here.

I don't really care how the rest of our year goes now.
I saw this as a development year, and i think we have improved enough over the season to give me real hope for next year.
The defence was right from game one, and i think we have finally got the attack right in the last month.
Smith has players working on things in the off season and almost all young guys improve - so i look forward to us being a force from game one next season.
If the boys go off the boil over the last month or so of this season i won't be that bothered, but, of course, if they go on with it i will be happy too.

I agree with most of this, but even looking to next year, I think finals experience this year could prove invaluable. Without Bedsy and Doogs next year, we are going to field a squad defined by youth and potential. I am full of confidence about 2009 in general. But when it comes to the business end of the season, we could be worryingly lacking in big match experience.

My prediction of 8th-10th at the start of the year is looking pretty close, and I think I'll stick with it...just to be Mr Conservative :p However if we do beat the Raiders this weekend (who will have a choke of epic proportions if they are to miss the 8) I'd be upping that to 7th-9th.

We are due for everything to go pretty close close to clicking well soon and right now is a good time to break the duck in Canberra I reckon.

There's little doubt that we're going ok, but I think the fear of Canberra down in Canberra is justified. Our record down there is quite ordinary and I know this side this year is different to ones over the years, but the Raiders are on fire. IMO the game this week is bigger than the Storm or Broncos matches.

I'm more worried about the Cowboys game then the Raiders game to be honest... Thurston back in town and they are a different side. I think they will mess up a few teams' finals aspirations. I just hope not ours!!!!

Wow, that is probably the most confident comment I have ever seen. I don't car who wins either way but I'm prepared to tip the knights on the back of this monumental confidence

You are correct in that if we lose it is all academic from here. Each game we play is a semi final from now on. I still say the raiders without Carney won't touch us cos Penrith were utterly abysmal and had nil backbone whatsoever last weekend. This is the same Canberra side who got smashed at suncorp three weekends ago. So we are ahuge chance. The Cowboys game will probably be JT's return (just our luck) so it will be a toguh assignment as well.

The Cowboys game was looking a lot easier before they touched up the Bulldogs. I think we can beat the Broncos in Suncorp for some reason. I'm thinking we'll lose to the Storm and Raiders but beat the Broncos and Cowboys. Guess we'll see what happens.
