It's a rotten trend for this current generation, the paid DLC fad.

I'm used to getting all this for free on PC, one of the reasons I love Valve is they constantly add more value without holding their hands out for more money.

Ummm... because GTA 1 and 2 are Generation 1 GTA games, I'm talking the next generation mate ;-)
here you go with the generation crap again. you've got no idea what you're talking about do you?

very true, i love Valve for that and many other reasons :D

although to be honest i don't mind paid DLC as long as it's good quality and not too expensive. good developers deserve my money in order to keep producing good games.

On that note, I used to enjoy standing next to the fast highways, and if you faced them so you weren't looking down the highway, just directly at it, and park a car across the road. One car would hit it and it would just continue until you had a massive pileup.

yep yep :D

i'd wait for that and then get my flamethrower and burn them all

LOL  dude, GTA 1 and 2 are birds-eye view games, and are in no way linked like GTA 3, VC, SA and GTA 4 are. Apart from that, GTA 1 and 2 are not Sandbox games like the following GTA games are. GTA evolved from GTA 2, a birds-eye view game, into a 3d game (GTA 3) with a story line that is linked to the following GTA games that were released. That is 2nd generation, that's what I'm talking about here :D

Apparently GTA SA has a cheat that allows you to play around Liberty City in that one mission where you go to Marco's bar - does anyone know how to activate it or what we do?

Your point is even more valid when you consider that gta 1 and 2 came out in a different console generation to the following 3 games on ps2, and now gta4 on ps3 in another console generation.

I found GTA IV way too easy and quick to complete the main missions.
I liked VC the best, but mainly because of the music.

Wasn't there a glitch in SA where if you flew in a certain direction for 15 minutes or so you'd eventually hit liberty city and do a mission??

Yeah the music + the fearless attitude of Tommy Vercetti is what won most of the points for Vice City.
