70's - heavy rock is absolute gold, and almost just for the list of bands above, easily some of the best music produced, shown by its longevity.
also havig just seen we will rock you, reconfirmed the sadness i have for not being able to see the majority of these bands live :(

It was close between the 60's and 70's for me. Music's formative years. But I chose the 1970's because it spawned what is still my favourite music.

It's been all downhill since.

Anything but the 80's, really. Depending on what mood I'm in, I love Hendrix, Cream, Led Zep, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and then onto 90's/00's stuff like JBT, Ben Harper etc.

It's a draw between the 70's and 90's for me.

70's had Sabbath and gave birth to heavy music.

90's had Kyuss, Pantera, Machine Head the emergence of Tool.
