Hypothetically, if you played footy, and you had the ball and were about to be tackled, which type of tackle would you least want to be performed on you.

I think the elbow to the head really - could cause a lot of damage.

The arse poke sounds sort of exciting ...

The great thing about Hopoate is that he actually qualifies on the arse poke and the elbow to the face aswell. What a top player.

The ripper. The tackle that got Luke O'Donnell was the first version of it.
Craig Bellamy has a lot to answer for introducing most of the dangerous plays into the game.
When sport comes down to taking players out of contention by inflicting injuries, it is time for the administration to have a good look at the rules.
And the worst part is Bellamy doesn't think he has done anything wrong.
He may be a great coach tactically, but in my opinion is sadly lacking in morals and sportsmanship. Lost me I'm afraid.
Could you imagine Jack Gibson or Wayne Bennett coaching their players to use those tactics?
When someone is really seriously injured, the code will find itself subject to legal action for failure to implement Duty of Care to the players. Mark my words!!!

Im pretty sure all of these tackles happen in junior footy maybe not with as much force but the Storm didnt magically create them.

I see that people have posted up videos from youtube, in regards to tackles they wouldn't want to experience. However (although the following didn't occur in league), I'd have to say both of the links below are the worst (especially the second one, it was career ending and the guy had to get like 20+ operations as a result). Even the first guy must be counting his blessings that he still walk. Both are pretty horrific

You'd be praying just before you got tackled, hoping you wouldn't experience either of these. Your thoughts?
