Half the team are leaving, so not sure

If they've lost him, McFadden's more of a f**kwit than I realised

The only redeeming factor is we have a fair bit of back row depth. But it still wouldn't forgive dropping him for Lousi, given that Lousi is also leaving, and vastly inferior.

Boyd (especially Knights era)
75% of the Warriors
Carney
Fifita

Although the last two are more a lack of brains than heart.

Jarryd Hayne.

90% of the time he didn't give a f**k and still was the best on the field most games.

That's a fail

Hayne was the complete package he had everything as a player he was just unfortunate to play with a team of park players.

Jakiel Mariner from the Roosters NYC comes to mind. Once SG ball player of the year but put footy on the backfoot in order to pursue a career as a singer.

Yileen Gordon and Manase Manukafoa are two that come to mind in recent history. Gordon could have been one of the best centers in the game if he had ticker and Manase was just a gentle giant. I remember him defending our goal line in a game against Canberra once and being run over by a 90kg reserve back rower like he wasn't even there. The bloke was 120 kg monster ffs. Just incredibly soft.

Josh Perry.

Had everything to become a great prop but he just loved to plod along in his ploddy comfort zone. He was a pea heart.

I've seen a lot of players like Tony Williams and Dave Taylor over the years (in club footy). Guys that never seemed to click onto the fact that there bodies were weapons. Taylor in particular is a bloke who dominates the little blokes like Barba, but shits himself with the bigger blokes like O'Donnell.

I don't agree with Sims. Particularly having watched him mic'ed up recently. He seemed to be all heart.

Lauititi is an interesting nomination. A freaking ball player, and I don't think we should have ever got rid of him- but that was the stated reason for his expulsion.

Wobbie Farah. If only he always played as if the board had just come out and said he was no longer required. He'd be the best player in the comp

Some good and forgotten names being thrown around whilst he never made firsts I'd have to nominate Matt Mundine if he even gave a half a shit he could have been a fantastic player.

As a Saints fan I'd have to say Trent Barrett to an extent always killed it for the Blues and was great at Cronulla to. was way, way to inconsistent for us.

A few others from memory.

-Joe Williams.
-Luke MacDougall
-Richie Williams

I can't agree with this. Inconsistency doesn't correlate with having no heart. Barrett was very passionate for the Dragons. And he was definitely better at the Dragons than his years at the Sharks.

I don't agree with your view on this. Trent Barrett was quoted saying "footy is not fun anymore" in 2006 he was made a life member of the Illawarra Steelers as an active player he was offered to come back to the Dragons, under the Bennett regime but decided to play for our b rivals instead. He no longer has any affiliation with the club and will be head coach of Manly next year. Let's not forget St. George has "jobs for the boys club" at present yet a "favourite son" didn't make the cut I don't believe his heart was in our club the moment he got slapped by Brownie. This is my view and my opinion on the matter.

Todd Byrne - if he'd had a bigger ticker (and longer legs) Scott Sattler wouldn't have got anywhere f**king near him

Premiership losing pea hearted f**kwit

Byrne could have had Usain Bolts legs, Satts was running him down no matter what. Now there was a player with heart.

Anyway Penrith has had there fair share of pea hearts over the years. Junior Moors and Joseph Paulo spring to mind as players who could have been very good if they had some ticker. Daine Laurie as well could of been good, I think he was also lacking a brain tho...
