In all seriousiness.

In my HSC exan they had a poem.

The question was "What is the poet saying?"

I simply wrote the poem out again.

I got zero for that part.

Thank f*ck I did 4 unit maths.

u see the reason u got 0 is because the correct answer was actually "He's saying nothing - he's writing it down"

Sounds absolutely fascinating.

With such a broad range of education, you've probably had the best of all of us.
Maybe HJ will come on and refute that, but I'm including the different and varied cultures that you grew up in, as well as your schooling.
As difficult as it might have been at the time, I think you were very lucky.

Definitely.

Especially if he had the opportunity to learn languages as a child.

When I lived in Sweden I spent 6 months in a fulltime language school for immigrants. One of the girls in my class, an American, had a 6 and a 4 year old and they learned Swedish (in a regular school with Swedish kids) twice as fast as their mother.

But she was by far the worst in our class. But the kids spoke better Swedish than any of the rest of us too.

Can't remember which school (I think it was Oakhill College so 1978 or 1979) but Muggleton was a student teacher in a class of mine when he was doing his Dip ED.

Ok, here goes...

I can't remember the name of the school. It was too long ago, and also in Dutch. But it was from Kindergarten.

I was skipped ahead to Year 2 from Kindy. So from Year 2 to Year 4, I went to Lincolcn International Academy in Santiago, Chile.

Then for Years 4 to 5 I went to International School Of Helsinki in Helsinki, Finland.

Then from years 6 to 9 I went to Kensington School in Barcelona, Spain.

Then for Years 10 to 12 I went to The Hills Grammar School in Kenthurts, Sydney.

how many languages do you speak?

Merrylands East primary, then Parra Marist Bros (westmead) Cayless was two years below me. Another guy in my year (can't remember name) was picked up by Panthers and went to Patrician brothers in blacktown area. He ended up playing briefly for Crushers, i think. Also Fitzy went to my school. Unfortunately Eels were going through the dark age during my school years. Total of 6 people in my year supported mighty eels. Others were closet fans, I suppose.

Shouldn't you be at school then!

Nope in the middle of trial HSC exams so if I don't have an exam on [like yesterday] I don't have to go to school..

Only problem is I have no motivation to study.. Oh well I have 2 more exams, 1 this afternoon and 1 Monday afternoon then I get the rest of next week off :D
