Which team adds the least to NRL?

Serious question, but didn't Souths have more players that debuted for the team than any other in the finals question last year?

Possibly, however take Inglis, Burgess x 8, Crocker, Taylor, Asotasi etc. out of the side and they wouldn't have been in the finals at all.

Gotta laugh at the upset Sharkies fans in this thread.
I think the last 40 odd years have left them mentally unstable.

Funny thing is I by myself have won the same amount of premierships as the sharks

it's ok you can still watch beau on the footy show.

The roosters and the sharks can disappear but if had to choose it would be the chooks. No juniors ,empty stadium = no heart and soul.

These threads are boring. Like watching Cronulla play 3 years ago. Because everyone has teams they hate for x amount of reasons.

I prefer the threads "if you were starting the league today...." in regards to where you'd put teams geographically.

Considering we are land locked between StGeorge and the Illawarra... we are very poorly positioned in that sense.

But it is what it is and knowing the brains trust in the ARL... it won't drastically improve in the next 5-10 years anyway.

so you mean the super league locations/geographical spread?
*cue the f@#k NEWS, ribot, et al diatribe.*

Starting a competition today:

North Queensland - SL - NQ
Brisbane - SL - Bris
West Brisbane
Newcastle - SL - Hunter
Northern Sydney/Central Coast
Sydney - SL - Dogs
West Sydney - SL - penrith
Illawarra/Wollongong - SL - Sharks
Canberra - SL - Canberra
Melbourne - SL - Adelaide - i think would have eventually come into existence anyway
Perth - SL - Reds
Auckland - SL - NZ

Pretty much a SL spread of teams with a couple areas they missed out on of Nth Syd and 2nd SE Qld

You can say that of most of the clubs really

Bulldogs, take Graham, Inu, Perrett, Ennis, Morris, Keating, Pritchard out. Very different result

Cowboys take out Thurston, Tate, Graham, Johnson, Cooper, Winterstein

Sharks take out Carney, Robson, Gibbs, de gois, Taufua, Ross, Jeremy Smith

Etc

These threads should all be titled Shark Bait.

They'd disappear if the Sharks fans, who constantly tell us they don't care they are losers because they are building a shopping centre by a swamp, actually didn't care and keep on biting at the obvious bait.

Its the off season. Its hot. The bait is in abundance and the fishing is good.

Having said all that, its obviously Cronulla.

We need to lose at least one Sydney team and ideally two. Hopefully they would merge, not relocate. Souths/Easts are an obvious candidate. That should be a very successful merger. The other team that is in desperate trouble in years to come is Cronulla. I guess, they would merge into St George Illawarra to create a southern team. Many fans find the concept of mergers rather distasteful but if it is necessary to ensure the long term viability of your club, it is well worth considering. With the growing power of soccer and AFL people are living in a fantasy land if they think everything is sweet. It's not.

Everything is sweet as long as it's not your club in the crosshairs.

The ARLC should actively consider merging ALL eight Sydney based NRL teams in to one super league club.

The Sydney Borg anyone?

Then bring in a 2nd Melbourne team.
