LOL If we were running short of dough on the odd occasion we used to pinch the milk money on the way to the old Penshurst flee house.
Sometimes on the way to Mortdale as well if we caught the train to Hurstville which had 2 picture theatres.

Ah well Boys will be boys. My milkrun (1971)used start at the railway bridge on King Georges Rd Penshurst &go right down South Hurstville then right and back up to Penshurst station..

Lived there for a few years and not only did I hate the place, but the people there are largely pasty dweebs with no real character or personality. They are a perfect fit for the Raiders brand.

Watching them lose is almost sexual for me.

I watched the Melbourne vs bulldogs GF in Melbourne.

Don't get me wrong, I hate the dogs, but my hatred for melbourne is a whole other level.

Watched the first half in fed square on the big screen. Managed to keep a lid on it until Cameron smith was lining up his first shot at goal. It was like I heard myself yell "shank it you cheating grub!". Death stares all round, pointing daggers at me, including Marcus bai and other blokes in Melbourne club gear.

Decided it might be a good idea to watch the second half in the pub across the road.

So I'm in the pub having a pint, watching the footy and minding my own business. Looks a foregone conclusion that Melbourne have it wrapped up, and this old fella comes over and says to me "that's so exciting that we're going to win the flag (FFS), can you believe that they made us play for no points in 2010?!? That's like making Carlton play for no points. It's unheard of"

Now I'm not proud of it, but I unleashed on this poor old AFL lover. Told him that Melbourne f**king cheated, they thoroughly deserved the punishment they got, and if it were up to me I would have kicked the cheating merkins out of the comp.

I didn't make any friends that day, but I just couldn't help myself. I really like their city, but their NRL team is a stain on our competition.

Any team that ricky stuart coaches. I fricken hate that bloke. I cannot stand his head. His excuses. He thinks he is a god. I remember when he was coaching blues he used to drink at my local pub and bang on and on about how this was the year the blues were going to beat the Queenslanders. All the while he would bludge smokes off the locals. So for me, its Canberra Raiders this year until Ricky moves to yet another club then I will hate them.

It used to be Melbourne for me but Canterbury have jumped ahead.

Cheaters, hypocrites, liars, have the NRL CEO in their back pocket, bred not bought yet I couldn't count on one hand how many juniors are in their team, a lot of their fans are trash and they play most their games at ANZ stadium.
