San diego must be in the running for most dissapointing so far.
we really cant afford to drop another game if we are to go past the broncos and win our division we are 2 games behind with atlanta oakland at home kc tampa bay away before we play denver @ qualcomm.
while they host the bills and kc and travel to the jets panthers and finally us
anyone think we can win the afc west

Another loss now we are 3 games behind denver with 4 to play thats it for us this year,It would take a monu-f**king-mental collapse from the broncs and a massive turn around from us in the coming weeks to see us in the playoffs very dissapointing season

Tank the rest of the season. Get a good draft pick and welcome back Merriman.

Will take the Div next year.

LT is finished IMO. As great as he's been since entering the league and carrying San Diego from obscurity to contender, I think they need to start phasing him out and make Rivers the focal point of the offense. Their was a stat yesterday where early in the 4th quarter, Rivers had not thrown a completion since the 1st quarter. Can't win football games if the defense can't generate a pass rush, the offense can't run with consistency and the QB is restricted to 3rd down passing.

The Seahawks have been dreadful too.

LT i agree, but to be fair his O line have struggled to create anything for him, Marshawn Lynch struggled early this year for us due to our o Line, now he has been playing brillantly.

Also, wouldn't be surprised if his toe injury is still bothering him.

Because he called Belichick classless?

That and:

- "9 out of 10 times we would beat them" about the Patriots.
- When his team most needed him in the AFCCG - he sat on the bench with a big jacket and his helmet and visor on. Showed how good of a team mate he actually is.
- People keep comparing him to and even calling him the best ever, he is a pimple in comparison to barry sanders, oj etc.

Pfft. Hate to pigeon hole someone, but that is the typical response from a Pats fan.

He started that game, but it was obvious earlier on that he wasn't going to be effective due to that injury.

Why is that?

He bagged the Patriots for not being "classy" after the mocked Merriman's stupid 'Lights Out' dance when they won. The whole week before the game, Merriman talked it up about what he was going to do.

Anyone who has played a contact sport knows that there is nothing better than beating someone in that situation. I did similar things when I played rugby at school mocking other teams.

But then to pass the blame to Belichick, someone who is so unlikely to have told the players to do it that it is not funny. LT was making excuses out of thin air.

Saying "We'd beat them 9 times out of 10" is more "unclassy" than anything the Patriots did. It is especially funny that it took injuries to our Quarterbacks on offence and defence to go down for them to beat the Pats.

On the game he sat out, I don't know how healthy he was. But he was healthy enough to stay in his gear and sit there. He could have gone on even just as a diversion...

If he wasn't good to go back on, why did he sit in the same spot the 100 times the cameras showed him. He never even took his helmet off.

LT is a flashy player, and was very good. But if I were building a team, my running back would have a heart and want the ball every down. Look at Adrian Petersen, he makes a crucial fumble and he basically drags his team to victory. LT would sit on the bench and sulk.

if the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

perhaps.

but hes never been the same since. cant just be because lorenzo neal isn't there and the o line couldn't block david simmons at the moment. he had a toe injury as well but that..i don't buy that's the full reason. the knee must have been worse than he let on.

he probably shouldn't have sat there. but he did.. its done. same as bill Belichick shouldnt have ran off the field after the superbowl..or worn that brand new red jumper when th whole year hed worn thetorn sleeves grey thing.

baaad omens.

hes probably coming to the end. not surprising. he carried a franchise from 01-07. his legs and shoulders must be killing him.

Some really short memories on here.

Look at all the records and tell me LT isn't to RB's what Jerry Rice is to WR's.

LT played on some real bad teams earlier in his career, turned around a franchise that Eli Manning was told not to play for, and only two years ago was the clear cut MVP of the league. Now Peterson is a great player, but he's still 4-5 elite seasons away from being in the same discussion.

Hahaha.

No one is saying he is not good, but to compare him to Jerry Rice you are kidding.
