I dont think a team should relocate to the Gold Coast because I think they should have their own team.
But if you had to pick a side to relocate to the GC, who would it be?

None i just can't pick one,
it should be its own team, however if one was to move maybe the sharks  could be any team for that matter

I think Souths would be better received than most other teams at a new location.

I dont mind the idea of the storm relocating only because I cant think of any decent reasons why any sydney clubs should move. I think the Storm might get more respect if they called Gold Coast home. Please tell me otherwise but how is the support for the team in VIC. However I understand that this wont happen because the nrl are trying to keep the comp national, not just nsw and qld (not to mention NZ)

Relocation is stupid. If Souths and Manly can't get good crowds in their home grounds then why would they get crowds on the GC?

New teams I say.

If they had to be relocated then...
Bunnies or Sharks to GC
New team/promoted Bears for CC

Sharks fans will shout me down but they would fit in well up there and probably win the comp that has so long eluded them. The money would flow in. For Souths the reason is obvious.

I readily admit that if the current trend towards scandal continues the Dogs may well become the best option for NZ's second team...

Raiders....No one cares about em in Canberra...
No -one will care about em on the GC....
They'll feel right at home, but with a better climate.

On-Field performance has absolutely nothing to do with where the team is located. A team will NOT be relocated, it just will not happen. The only possible chance is if a team goes bankrupt.

Yes, I think any relocation will come from a Sydney team realising it is in danger of going bankrupt, and looking to explore new opportunites in order to prevent this.

Therefore, I would say cash-strapped Sharks, and then an as yet financially unsecure Bunnies to be prime candidates.

And a new/Bears side for Central Coast as the 16th team.

A recolated side isnt going to work, people aren't going to relate to a side if they are just some struggling club relocated, a club has to build its own identity

Why would you relocate the Raiders? Well managed club, financial, and successful on field... as opposed to Souths who are a shambles, always on the edge of bankrupt and a mob of losers?

Best to send Souths to South Australia, they can start again there where noone knows them, their image wouldn't fit in on the Gold Coast.

Sharks would be the most obvious Sydney team to send to the Gold Coast... but there is probably no strong incentive for them to do it, or no real need....

Sydney Roosters for sure!!!!

No one in Sydney likes them anyway, and besides they need juniors. Here's their chance to have one of the largest junior bases in Rugby League.

It's not going to happen, so why bother bringing it up?

I don't know if any of you realise this but a relocated side was the their (the Gold Coast bid team's) first option. They only started to look to the 16th spot because no team would put their hand up.

Apparently they have left the door open for this option just incase a team decides to do it after all.

Souths and Sharks have fans......
Raiders have nothing in Canberra.
