Which teams are flying under the radar?

It pains me to say it but I actually think Rabbitohs. Before you lol @ me I remember a lot of talk about their forward pack being the one to beat for 2011 but we never actually saw that pack the whole season. Its still there and fit & ready by all accounts. Also GI is looking lean and ready to fire. All it might take is for their newbie half to be a DCW & they might just gel.
Now I'll take myself off, adminster 6 of the best to myself, wash my mouth out with soap & sit in the corner for the rest of the day....
As much as I love my Souths, all it'll take is an injury to Reynolds (just off an ACL) or him simply not to fire and the season is basically treading water. If that happens in combination with us signing a big halfback for 2013 then it can easily turn into a nothing year

Manly.

New coach.

First 6 games away.

No Hopoate, Robertson or Rodney.

Lot of players off contract.

The panthers are flying under the radar, if people didn't have the roosters they had the panthers for the spoon. Though if you have ANY clue about nrl and footy you would rank roosters well below any other club. 2 spoons in 4 years coming for them this year.

I honestly believe that Titans are flying well under the radar.

Douglas
Srama
Bailey
Bird
Myles
Harrison

Mino
James
White
?

Gun pack not bad bench with mino and james adding plenty of impact.

Idris, Champion, Prince, Gordon, Mead. Plenty in the backline too.

That has an awful lot of similarities to Saints this time last year. We were unbeatable for thirteen weeks (f**k off Sharks fans), had won the WCC and something like 21 of our previous 22 games in the NRL going back to Round 22 of 2010.

Then Origin came (as it will for you). Coach and star player left (half thats already happened and I bet Foran goes too). Morale suffered. Hunger dispated and we won 4 games from there on.

Anyway. You're still my tip. Deserve to be without question IMO. Been giants of the game for last 6 years, won 2 comps. Dominated rep teams, won a WCC. Your mob are the only rightful challenges to being the best club in the comp with my mob over the last half decade and by way of Premiership trophies, you're in front. Its good to have the wood on you though. In fact, we own you!

Manly always fly under the radar. But they are still full of champions and have talent coming through and an ability and culture that develops it.

To borrow a line from Wes Mantooth in Anchorman "I hate you Manly. I HATE YOU!! But god dammit. I respect you."

Now. Get f**ked you merkins.

panthers for sure as dooggiesBro said everyone saying that it is a rebuilding year which yea it may be but the team that takes the field won't see it like that they will be looking to make amends for a poor 2011 season.

Like some others I have a horrible feeling about Souffs this year. Not the usual horrible feeling but a new one. :)

Also not many people are tipping the dragons to do well during our rebuild but I still think we may finish in the top 8

Well said. Hatred built on a healthy respect is good.

The only 2 teams that have unquestionably had the wood on Manly since 1947 are St George and St Merge. Not sure why but they just always seem to do well whether at Brookie or elsewhere. Thankfully there are a few highlights in a long list of games to forget including bringing Gasnier to tears after belting St Merge on the way to the 2008 premiership and also 61-0 in 1994. It's been slim pickings though over the years.

This isn't a wooden spoon thread. You have NFI.
