Be interesting to see what bellamy does with kasiano.

Not too many plodders changing hands next season.

Reminds us of Luke Lewis at Penrith doesn't it . . . marvellous what a difference good injury prevention and recovery will attain

I don't think its a question of how the club manages his injuries though... We have one of the best records with injury in the competition over the past few years. I don't think Cronulla manage that side of things any better or worse than Souths.

Its just that some guys, particularly when they're on the younger side, injure easier than others. If he gets over that then he'll be a good footballer. If he doesn't then he'll potentially bumble along for a few more years playing 5 or 6 games a season and end up as a brickies laborer or something.

I think the coaching staff at Souths have had a good enough look at him over the years and are of the opinion that he won't be able to get over his injury problems. That's why we didn't really put up a fight to keep him.

Say it enough times and I guess it'll become true.
That's the way . . . would you think Sam's procurement to your team would be a steal

. . . come to think of it, I'd like to see Sam drop 20 kilos and go to the Eels, his 20 minutes might be all that is needed to give Arthur's mob the rest in the middle they need

Say what? You won't convince me Humpty Dumpty Reynolds or Inglis are getting the best preparation at Souths, your mob are losing because they have an unstable roster, mentally and physically

Secret meetings, still on contract, multiple suitors - sounds like a poach to me.

Mind you he's had to take a pay cut but he was on overs and the Dogs were likely to do the same.

Des is still on contract, not a real indicator of worth is it. C'mon ol' mate, answer the question, do you consider 20 Minute Sam a steal . . . what's a pisstake amongst friends

As an impact bench forward, when the dogs are putting in for his salary?

To replace one of the powerhouses of Latimore, Tagatese or T-Rex?

Gimme a few more minutes to ponder that.

Reynolds has had several different injuries in the last 24 months. He's done a knee, a hip and broken a hand. Not much you can do if a bloke keeps injuring different parts of his body. Prior to that he played quite a number of games in a row without injury.

Inglis ruptured an ACL... Again, not much you can do about that. He has a bad knee because it basically has no cartilage left in it but that is the opposite knee to the one that's currently gone. Again... I fail to see how you can manage that differently?

A lot of people carried on when he continued to play on his ruptured ACL but once its gone, its gone. He wasn't going to damage it further and it was his decision to carry on so make of that what you will.

If you actually dig deeper, we haven't really had that many injuries this year and when they have occurred, the player involved has generally come back quicker than expected.

We are in a shit situation because we have a rubbish roster and most of our squad have hearts the size of peas.

Tell you what, if Sam does better than Champion did for Melbourne I'll concede him as a poach, still, I hate the thought of it. . . everyone should hate the thought of Melbourne turning

I agree with most of what you think you need to convince yourself, fact remains Souths are doing something wrong, remedies are far more important than perseverance

Doesn't work like that. Poaches can backfire.

I could name a few ex-stormers in that category but that would just get you upset.

Yes, I've been through the numbers before, still think ex-Stormers outrank most of ex-other clubs. . . I've got to go now, the paint should be dry
