Unless this is the beginning (or end) of a dodgy joke, I don't believe a Parra player made their debut in the 1983 Grand Final.

Graham Wynn made his first run on start but was an interchange player in 5 other matches.

It was the EASTERN SUBURBS MILITARY COMMAND BAND...played for both Parra and Manly. Replaced the NAVAL BAND which was usually the first choice entertainment for Grand Finals....
