As an outsider, I really can't see the difference. Both don't get what they aspire to achieve.

2005

Well Unit, try this. Lose 4 GF's and a few other finals matches OR totally f**k up, lose a few premierships and most of your squad and then take 5 years to get back on track and be forever known as the biggest merkins in the NRL.

It's far to say the nrl was pressured into a Melbourne team, remember the numerous other teams that came and went before Melbourne was explored?. Melbourne finally get a team and see it as fair to screw every footy fan from the get go.

If they imploded in a black hole, who would really care......maybe 5,000 people...max.

Why spoil a grandfinal with the Dragqueens in it. Their showpiece is the Gay Mardi Gras:)

Question: Which NRL team has spoilt 2 GF's and quite a few full seasons in recent years due to Salary Cap issues, massive salary cap issues??. Not only did they cheat their opposition in the GF's, but also every other team in the comp.

Answer......

Like I said previously, this is too easy, dumping sh*t on you muppets LOL.

It might pay to realise that Victoria has had a Rugby League Organisation since 1914 I believe. They had been trying to persuade the NSWRL and ARL for quite some time to have a team in Melbourne. The NRL were the ones who had been holding back for quite some time. Their decision was meant to coincide with the Broadcasting rights, and an attempt to make stations pay more considering there'd be a team in the three biggest markets in Australia.

Considering the Storm average home crowd since their inception is in the vicinty of 12,000 odd, it'd be fair to say that it will impact on a lot more people than you believe.

The Storm also helps strengthen the NRL's product at the next broadcasting deal, which could really move the NRL Forward.

If the Storm were to fold, it'd be one less massive market the NRL would have, thus wouldn't attract as high a sum from the networks.

We can sit here and like dickheads, but in all honesty, the Storm, successful or not, are integral to the games financial growth, especially if there's some non-NRL company propping them up.

A Melbourne Storm jersey covered in blank cheques and brown paper bags. What time do you eat at the Footscray womens refuge??

Like I said, this is too easy, but fun:lol:

You dill, you need to wear something skimpy at the Gras, that is if you have the body for it;-)

Born in St. George Hospital 1970. Early days of school at Carlton South Primary (across the road from Jubilee), lived behind the Leagues Club, every 2nd Sunday at Jubilee or SCG, had to walk past Ted Goodwin's house to get to school, left rat-race in December 1979. Dad's best mate at school was Reg Gasnier, they are still mates.

Next question.
