Why did Steve write you a rude letter?

There was a dispute in the same bay in which I sit early last year regarding smoking. I wasn't involved in the dispute at all. The end result was that the security guard walking 'round and 'round the field was being goaded by not just the fan in the seat, but the attendant for that bay.

So I wrote a letter addressed to "Football Club Management" or something similar suggesting that they clarify the rules. I.e. is smoking allowed or not, and that the security guards and the ushers should be told to enforce the same rules, not argue with each other.

In the same letter I made reference to the fact that the club was falling apart and that there had never been so much adverse publicity. I asked something along the lines of whether this was as a result of a 'new culture' and what the club was doing about it.

The letter I got back stated:
1. People should be able to smoke if they want, and that I had the option not to renew my season seat if I wasn't happy (Rogers' response didn't even address my problem - it was like it was copy-and-paste rudeness which they send to everybody)
2. It didn't even address the second matter I raised.

Unfortunately I no longer have the letter - I was a little hurt and offended and threw it out immediately. The letter I wrote was in absolute goodwill and offering a suggestion. The letter I got back pretty much said to get @#$*ed.

So I now watch the games on Fox.
