I get the feeling it burns you more knowing i couldn't care less about a game 4 years ago. Especially considering that since then we've played in 2 other QF's and a Grand Final.

You want so badly for it to bother me don't you? the desperation in your posts is glaring, its delicious.

 I love it. We win 5 grand finals in 9 years AND be a driving force in Super League AND come from Qld, and people are still talking about whether the Roosters or Storm are more hated because of three years of success. Maybe people have a soft spot for the Broncos after all?

But to answer the real question, it's a tough one. Roosters of 2002-4, like the Storm of recent years, have brought a unique defensive style to the game which has given them ascendency as well as stretching the rules. More than anything, though, it was extremely smart and has paid off for both clubs.

I'm absolutely jealous of the success that these teams have had. The Broncos have been incredibly successful, but we've never made 3 GF's in a row. Then again, we haven't lost one either.

Meh. I don't think "hate" really comes into it. I grudgingly accept that the Storm are a bloody good team and, when on song, they're fantastic to watch. Similarly in 2002, all I could do was hate the Bulldogs because of the cap cheating that brought so much pain to our game. I was happy to see any team OTHER than them win it at that stage.

Roosters founded 1908 by Rugby League people.

Melbourne founded 1998 by a multi national, American owned corporation.

The Bronco's have always been entertaining to watch, as were the Roosters "back in the day", however the same thing cannot be said about Melbourne who grind out results, whilst bringing our game into disrepute with there questionable "tactics".

The Roosters, but the Storm aren't doing themselves any favours at the moment with their 'us vs them' mentality. It's getting closer.

Storm, daylight second.

It takes a special type of team to make me cheer on Manly in a GF.
Best post of the thread so far. Sums it up brilliantly.

I would like to say neither.

Did/do not hate the Roosters, did/do not hate Melbourne.

Manly first, Brisbane second, daylight to the rest when it comes to wanting teams to lose.
