So much of rugby league's tribal nature is based on hate.
Hate for thugs. Hate for the team from across the tracks. Hate for salary cap cheating wrestlers in the employ of NEWS Ltd. Hate for Queenslanders.

This Sunday sees two of the most hated teams running around.
Who do you want to win?
NOT who do you think will win--NO ANALYSIS PLEASE. Just opinion.
Who do you hate more?


*for the record last years GF is the first one I deliberately didn't watch due to hating both the dogs and cheating storm.

so, IMO we are all jealous of em.

Manly, I like the way they play the game.
They are tough but creative. They have been written off a lot in the back half of the year, especially last week.
The spirit they showed after being 14 blot down was pretty amazing.
I hate them but admire them at the same time.

I don't really mind. Both are fairly equal in my 'dislike' books...I.e. I don't like either, but my hate is nowhere near the level of hate I have for souths, sharks, dogs, tigers.

I have a lot of respect for this manly team, and the fact they aren't an imported team like roosters I think I'd lean towards them.

I don't really consider Manly to be the silvertails any more. Hell my club is in a better financial state than they are. Most of their gun players started their careers at Manly, excluding Lyon. What they have is a very strong culture and an excellent capacity for identifying talent.

I rated Brenton Lawrence while he was at the Titans and wanted my club to pick him up. Manly got him instead and he's been one of their most consistent metre eaters all season. Peta Hiku could be a star in a few years time if he continues to develop the way he has.

So I've got grudging respect for them and I don't even want to consider the possibility of Shitchell Pus holding up the premiership trophy. Go Manly!

Manly, just like the poll says, they didn't buy a comp. Good on Trent Robinson for having a great first year as coach but seriously, how they get to buy Jennings, Maloney and SBW in the same year and winning it just doesn't seem right. Of course, there is obvious anti-Easts bias

Manly i felt were grubby when we played them this year but after seeing them destroy us in the prelim i've gotten to like their style of play and they've retained a core group as well as recruiting no-names and turning them into solid first graders i.e. Lawrence, Symonds, Horo.

To me that's the way i'd like to see a team win a premiership, not buy every big name player and hope it works out for them.

This. Along with Pearce riding on his dads name beyond over-rated being MIA for NSW over the years
