Who goes to every game?

I don't. Every year something stops me from going to every home game and a wedding has put laid to rest that plan for '12, plus moving a game to f**king Darwin and I'm going to that place

Out of curiousity how much do you's spend on games?

To me its about a $100-$120 commitment per game - $30-$40 for tix, $20 on food, and probably about $50 on drinks.

Bloody expensive week in week out so probably only get too like 7-8 games a year at best.

How can you spend up to $120 at the footy? At a home game I pay for transport, at away games in Sydney I pay transport & ticket. Obviously interstate games are different but why pay for the rubbish food at games?

Fixed it for you..

Darwin is awesome btw.

Lol didn't notice it. I'm not never going though I will one day but I'd rather be there longer than 1 or 2 days for my first trip.

Did it in 2005 & 2007. Really great times but I was a younger man and a man with less commitments so it wont be happening again methinks

I try to spend nothing at the footy, occasionally buy a drink or a burger.

Where possible I go to every home game and every away game between Gosford and the Gong. If possible I'd like to do a long distance one this year.

I also go to any rep or finals game I can, and usually a couple of Tigers, Eels, Sharks or Dragons games with mates.

In 09 (I think) I went to over 30 games.

Suncorp or Dairy Farmers is normally a good trip.

Especially get a bit warmer weather up Townsville during winter

***EDIT - just realized your Cowboys game Rd 7 is being played in Darwin this year... Give that a go...

Last year I went to all home games + all away Sydney games plus Newcastle and Gold Coast.. This year I'm planning 11 home games all Sydney away games and a trip down to Melbourne.

I rarely eat at a ground I'd rather get something before or after a game
I normally have a couple of beers at pub near the ground if I have time if not I grab one at the game.

Last week at Campbelltown it cost me $25 for a ticket, $10 for 2 beers
before the game and $30 for a steak plus another beer at West's Leagues after the game and $4 for a coke at the ground.

For Saints, GST and St Linnane are two in particular. Includes World Club Challenge in Wigan and trials in Perth.

I usually aim for one interstate trip per year, last year did Melbourne (third time) and I've done Suncorp about 4 times. Canberra is piss easy.

To go to North Queensland, NZ or trials in Perth is pretty hardcore - much respect to those who do.

I don't know why more people don't come up here when their team plays us, the weather up here during winter is f**king sensational, is a great escape from the southern winters. If you book a fair way ahead with virgin you can do sydney return for abou $300 which is pretty decent. I've probably only got this year left in NQ before I have to move but if i move to Brisbane I will keep one of my season tickets and fly back for every 2nd home game.........pssssst, don't tell my missus though!!!

I am actually doing the QLD triffecta this year should be good. Next year can cross NZ & AAMI Park. Never been to watch a game in NZ. Vowed never to go back to Melb due to Olympic Park being a hole mates say the new ground is quality so will check it out. Been to Townsville in 05, Suncorp 10, never watched a game at Skilled. Will be in Townsville for SOO so may not make the other 2.

I haven't missed a homegame since 2004. Where possible go to all Sydney games & most Newcastle games great weekend away now the grounds finished great facilites except that Bluetongue crap.. Only miss Dragons games, Brookie, Shark Park & Leichardt oval if they are on a weekday as it's impossible to make them after work.

Timmah has been to every single game ever played
, i lol'd.

i rarely miss a knights home game and usually go down to the away games at bluetongue, too. i don't often travel further than that for away games, and away game weekends give me a good chance to actually have a life outside of rugby league, too.

I've been every Canberra home game (except one in Coota and one in NZ). 30 years and 354 games.

I'll go to the Darwin game for you, Danish....seeing the ground is only 5 or 10 mins away from my place. Got tickets already. Is great to have an NRL game live up here.....just a pity one of the teams is the Roosters :p

Well keep in mind that going for me means going AS me... i.e. full rooster garb :D

We had actually planned on going to the Darwin game (never been to the NT so figured it a good excuse) but it ended up falling on the weekend of my first marathon in canberra. Talk about bad luck
