Who is the best fullback that is NSW origin?

He had his best year the 2001 when Presto won it. He is hot and cold. He can win games for you and lose em just as fast. He used to miss alot of tackles.

I'm still not convinced about Mini at the back - he doesn't offer the some stability as Peachey. Just look at the Manly game tonight - whatever kicks Andrew Walker put at him (and Walker IMO has the best kicking game in the NRL), Peachey handled with ease. Mini always has been and always will be a winger.

Peachey had a blinder as did Minichello. Minichello is a shoe in, just depends if the wingers step up for NSW if Peachey gets a run.

Johns is out apparently, Kimmorley could be NSW 7, his combo with Peachy may work in his favour. Still a long way away.

Mini would have to be injured not to be selected. I doubt they want the Peachey style of fullback anyway. They want a hole runner.

Hmmm... Peach has been held out of the NSW fullback posy by selectors, not form. Robbie Ross FFS!!!
Peach has regulary been voted each year as one of the top 3 Fullbacks in the comp. Thats near ten years. One of those players, is the best player ever to play the game.
All those things equal one thing, Peachey is not a good player, he is a truly great player.
Minicello has had a good season.
But until he learns to catch the ball in the big games, the pressure games, he isn't marvelous, great, fantastic or any superlative.
he is merely good.

well where does that leave peachey with his big game errors and lack of impact?

Um, I can't recall peach having any big game errors.
& lack of impact I don't really remember any games like that except 2002.
Even in the 99, his first half was terrific. Second half we had no ball & it was all in front of our own posts.
& in his only Origin game he handles twice a wrapped tha backline to finish outside the winger to score a try.
I have never seen peach do anything similar to Minis misdemeanours.

Who would they select? Hodgson - yeah right, a rag doll. Patten? Useless. And Peachey was running holes last night. Raper is getting him back to Peachey circa 99 and that bodes well for his Origin chances.
