voted for sammut because
A - Lewis is no halfback , he should be playing lock or center.
B - Graham is playing well at 6 and shouldnt be moved from ther THIS SEASON. If he plays out the rest of the season then maybe he will be right to shift to 7 next year.
C - Sammut might have made a few mistakes at the start of the season whilst playing half back but thats to be expected from a 21 yr old. Sammut at half with a player like Wade Graham outside him and I really think we would win more than we would lose ( so long as the forwards did their job )

Wade Graham.

He has the best passing game and vision out of anyone at the Panthers. All the other options should be contenders for the 5/8 position IMO.

Out of those on the poll I would probably lean towards Wade Graham. I think he could make it his own given the opportunity.

At the moment with who we have on the roster I would like to see Sammut in the 6 alongside Graham.

I'm over Lewis in the halves. He's had a good punt at it and has not come up trumps - he's just a makeshift at this level. Junior footy, yeah he probably killed it. My preference would be to ditch Smith and put Lewis at Lock.

Thats pretty much how I feel with Sammut and the fullback posi. Coote buried him at fullback. His only option now would be to slot in as 5/8th, wasted talent anywhere else on the field in firsts as far as I am concerned.

Weaver, his talents are better suited to the Grandstand. Maybe he could sell the hot doggies.

I think Graham is probably the closest thing we have to a natural halfback who is old enough to play NRL at the moment

wade graham is the closet we have to a half.But reality is he is a 5/8 or lock.He lacks the speed of the mark to be a half.But has the passing game and organizing skill for 5/8
Sammut.. may just be to small.He has had a lot of injuries this year
lewis ..is a center / lock. he has no kicking game and has a limited passing game

I think pace is overrated in the halves, remember guys like Jason Smith, not the fastest but had great ball playing skills, I think Graham and be that kind of player. I love his attitude on the field.

I think we need to forget about Sammut. I doubt we will see him play First Grade again(with any club) he is more worried about alcohol these days than footy.

We dont really need Sammut anymore.
He was great when he first debued but ever since hasnt really done much.
I think another club will pick him up.
He will probably play for Malta in the World cup so he may be noticed there.
The French will be seeing how the Aussies go in the world cup.

You dont need Sammut. LOL. You just lost a game, You could of won and partly down to the halves.
With pritchard out can depend on him to win the game and/or setup tries.

You need 2 of Sammut.

Im a fan of the panthers but you guys arent going to make the playoff with Wade Graham and Luke Lewis in the halves.

I admire Wade Graham for a 17 year old but agree with Gus that he should be dropped back down to u/20's.
Its hard to harsh to a young guy making a real good fist of it - but right now he is overated.

He does have plenty of enthusiasm and a half decent kicking game but by the looks of things he more worried about looking the part.

Luke Lewis is a good player but should be banned from the 7 jersey. Move him back to six and BRING BACK SAMMUT.

Yes we need sammut in the halves but thats not gunna happen is it.
Coz that IDIOT Elliot puts him on the wing.
If we had a decent coach we would be sitting comfortably in the top 8.
Most of the games we needed to win but lost was because Sammut was on the wing.
As soon as he gets the punt we are are back to winning form.
I think we should put Sammut to halfback and Lewis to Lock and have Nathan Smith coming off the bench.
I think someone has to take their life for the Panthers and donate Matt Elliot a brain.

lewis has done a good job at halfback come next year he will be shifted into a more suited role. can see graham going good at halfback. have been impressed with the limited things i have seen harry do in under 20's. how long do you think it will be till he is ready for first grade ?

harry is only 16 he will not see first grade till 2010.The dark horse for half is masada isofa.Elliott has named 3 hookers this week.This would tell me if lewis pulls out isfia will move into halfs.I told you all elliott reads our forum

When I had the audacity that Iosefa play half, going back a couple of months even before his FG debut, everyone thought I was an idiot.

It won't be long before more and more of the supporters see the light and jump onto Fibro's side of the colorbond fence.

I'm not saying that Masada is a long term solution to our half back woes, I'm saying he is a better short term solution than Lewis and Graham.
