It was settled last night in the muts opinion. Andrew Johns is the finest player in the world and lockyer although quite good, has nothing on the great man.

The mut feels Lockyer is over-rated. his club has the best bunch of fowards in the comp, he is expected to shine. Look what Johns done to transform the NSW foward pack in SOO II.

Great players inspire other players around him. Johns can say he does that. lockyer cannot.

Also everytime Johns has played Lockyer he has wiped the floor with him. FACT!

I conceed, after game 1 I was not sold albeit it was one of the great games from a individual coming back from an extended layoff.

I gave him this game to swing my vote. If he dominated again, the title was his again.

Darren Lockyer failed to deliver for QLD, sure he had little help, though giving him that title at the moment just ain't right with 2 impressive showings from one of the modern day greats (Johns).

The thing is that Queensland's forwards were not as outclassed as OUrs were in game 1. We had no massive gains up the middle - so the blame the forweards for heather Lockeyer's demise isn't quite true.

Queensland's forwards laid a better platform than the 32-10 scoreline suggested. Lockyer choked. Pure and simple.

In game 1, NSW fought back from 19-0 down. Gotta give the halves some credit.

From 18-0 down at the same ground, Lockeyer choked.

Last night, and for the game 2, Johns came up huge on the games biggest stage again. If it was as billed a "world title fight" for the best player in the world tag, Johns won the belt.

Lockyer will be back, at the moment though, he is just behind Johns for now. It's a long season though....

Johns is worlds best without a doubt. Lockyer is very good, but he can't defend. It's that simple. The try Anasta scored between Locky and Bowmen? showed just how poor Lockyers defence really is. It will be a sad day for the game of Rugby League when the best player in the world can't tackle.

No they're not. Petro Civinocena is the best prop in either team. Carroll and Crocker are on par with NSW backrow. They all played well.

It took John's inpsiration and direction the get the best out of the NSW pack, something Kimmorley could not do and Lockeyer couldnt.

Fact - When Johns was on the field NSW were leading 32 - nil.

Fact - when he left the field, QLD pack began to dominate and scored 2 tries.

Johns is the difference. If he played for QLD last night, QLD win. Simple. Lockyer is pretty good, Johns is great...
