Had Gareth Widdop been playing for St George-Illawarra then the Dragons would have won comfortably against the Rabbitohs yesterday.

That is one of the reasons why so many people highly rate the Pom Gareth Widdop.

Sam Burgess just got owned by the Roosters pack, especially youngster Victor the Inflictor..

So the best Pom is either Gareth Widdop or Josh Hodgson.

Hodgson is the only pom I'd want at Cronulla.

Sam Burgess has had serious injuries in 2018 that have diminished his form. We can see that in the number of times he lost the ball. So Gareth Widdop is probably the best Pom in the NRL for 2018.

Next year the NRL will have three more Poms playing: Ryan Hall (Sydney Roosters), John Bateman (Canberra Raiders) and Ryan Sutton (Canberra Raiders). That will demand a new thread and the chance to evaluate the Pommie newbies against the established Pommie performers.
