At the Tigers there's Marika Koroibete who is just bafflingly quick and now John Grant who came second in the Gatorade Bolt to Lachie Turner after having no preparation as a late replacement. Chris Lawrence of course ain't no slouch either.

Wha? Barba and Gardner are solidly 0.5 seconds behind Jarryd Hayne over 100m as shown when they had a race last year, Barba being faster than Gardner.

Locke is also very sharp off the mark and does have the speed to go the length, but he is certainly not the fastest in the comp over 100m- similar to Barba and Gardner imo. He failed to catch Brad Tighe and Beau Champion when he didn't have much ground to make up in games this season (actually you could argue Tighe really outran him).

On that note, Tighe always seems fast to me- does he get run down?
