Yeah but I doubt we wouldve been in that position with stanley on the field as we needed all hands of deck to contribute. You really can't plan for 2 centres to go down

The issue with picking Thompson is that we need him in the backrow. We aren't exactly flushed enough with quality edge forwards that we can put our best one into the centres - I'd go as far as to say that, with Runciman and Mata'utia, we are better equipt at centre than we are in the second row.

That said, I'm going to start mentally preparing myself to see Nathan Green or Kyle Stanley at right centre.
