The crowd was posted as 8,175 but gee it sounded more like 12,000+. Extremely loud and I had fun giving it to the Melburnians all night. I was high up in the Eastern stand with the flag yelling out "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and "Kimmorley is King".

Add to that the stirring rendition of "Up Up Cronulla" at fulltime by the small group of Cronulla lads and it made for a great night.

I had to tape it and watch it later - I committed myself to a party which was an absolute snooze fest. Followed it as much as I could on the radio, but they were only giving occasional updates.

I was at Taren Pt pub, terrific atmosphere. The roar of the crowd everytime we did something great was bone rattling!!

I was in Failford at my Mum and Dad's place. Spent most of the 80 minutes fending questions from Mum about why we haven't got a decent goalkicker.

I told her to be patient, and that I'd hopefully have an answer in a couple of weeks...

We were at the game on Saturday night. We sat in the Eastern Stand as well, but there was hardly anyone around us.

I agree it sounded like approx 12,000 ppl booing BK at every opportunity, but it didn't look like that many.

I always love how the Melbourne crowd get the ruling flashed on the big screen for them, in case they don't know the rules to NRL.

It was good to see some regular sharkies supporters in the crowd too.

I knocked off work. Went home. Poured myself a rumbo and another rumbo and another rumbo and shook the foundations of bayside Brisvegas with the raucus feral yelling and screaming for our group of champions!!!
Sounds like I would've fitted in well at the Pt. taren pub!!!!

Must have been a popular choice on Saturday night. I have no idea how many I had to drink!!!!! :alcho:

Sounds like we were all on the eastern stand, we were down the front.

Tama it's a shame you didn't come down to see that mob singing the UP UP CRONULLA tune at halftime !!!

Mermaid, Bubbles and I were giving it our best with wazza aswell. Foz and his mate were into it too ! it was LOVELY as those storm fans really took it to us verbally early in the match at a try down, but how fun is it when you bite your tongue in the face of such attacks, only to be able to sing and dance for the rest of the match !

OUTSTANDING !!!!!

Mermaid had anothyer good innings Jimbo !
