The way I see it, only their respective fans and the media will miss them. Them being in or out of the game doesn't really bother me whatsoever.

Edit: Club wise, Burgess. Roosters have the depth to cover SBW.

Sammy has been unbelievable this year. It's a shame to see him leave now because he had the potential to become one of the top 5-10 forwards in history. He is THAT good.

But, as things stand, he still hasn't led Souffs to f**k all. Where as SBW OMG led the Roosters to a Premiership. And he just might lead us to B2B Premierships.

Burgess, purely because he gives 110% every week he plays, especially this season (for obvious reasons)

SBW will be missed by the NRL but the Roosters have enough quality back rowers to make up for it.

Burgess will return to Souths in 2016 imo though, especially if he doesn't make it into the England RWC team.

Looking at most of the posts show that the OP's question is too broad.

The league will miss Sonny more as he's a bigger star with more achievements. I think he has the most tweet followers as well if that means anything.

Souffs will miss Sam more as he's uncoverable, such is the season he's having. Can his brothers take up the reigns? They'll give it a good go.

Kiwis won't miss $bw, England needed Sam. Fans love Sam, dislike $bw, Sam is by far the better player for his club. Simple choice.
