ive picked up in a few posts that he is a fan of covells, fair enough. but why does the board constantly berate bbsf in the form of mocking one of todays great player's? what has bbsf done so bad that he needs to be cut down to pices. and what has covell done to deserve his reputation being dented?

The reason everyone abuses him is because he starts countless topics to just BS on about how great Covell is. I'm sure alot of us have a sh*t player that we really like too, but he's really the only one who makes a new topic nearly every day about his.

Covell as a five-eighth? No, he has no playmaking ability, his general play kicking game is crap, he can't pass, is slow, and if it weren't for the service from Dykes/Kimmorley, he would look even more pathetic. He attracted little to no interest from any club but the Sharks, and if he didn't kick goals like he does, he'd be in England or playing in another clubs premier league side, and that's the truth.

im not a sharks fan, nor a disillusioned tigers supporter, i go for st George on account of them possessing the great barret, timmins, bailey, torrens and simmonds, nothing more. BUT, you dont need to be ray hadley to know the impact luke covell has had on the game this year, its been absolutely enormous, he has single handedly stamped his authority on the game this season and shown that he will be one of the greats in years to come. He may not be a laurie daley, gary freeman, barret, timmins, torrens just yet but geez, he looks the goods doesnt he? you would have to be blind to miss the vision, defence kicking game etc the young kid holds,

now dont get me wrong, i just made covell sound like Gods gift to footballers, he isnt, but hes class nonetheless.

one more thing, i dont think bbsf has made any posts about covell lately, just when someone asks a question and he replies with covells name in print people just jump on the tall poppy anti f**king covell bandwagon shit. its degrading.
