given the current circumstances of a stop start season, time of uncertainty, possibly being away from family support etc a good argument could be made that whoever wins this year will have overcome more than most to take out the title.
And if the proposed solution of a 15 round comp where everyone plays everyone once, in a closed stadium, everyone isolated... that's basically putting everyone in the same circumstances, everyones facilities are identical, there is no home ground advantage, no soft or hard schedule etc
I think this shapes up as the fairest premiership in decades. Whoever wins will have earned the right to call themselves champions, and the 15 loser clubs who lost can try to belittle that if they want (lord knows i will if its a club im not a fan of!
) but as i said, it wont stop those fans, those players and that club from celebrating it, putting their trophy on display, and history will record them rightly as champions. So f**k what other fans say
