I reckon there would be people too scared to go, which is a f**king disgrace due to the fact that there fear is legit(though often exagerated)

The dogs fans are a disgrace to the league, and the sooner the fugwits are booted, the better.

I've been to both Sully and I reckon you're not far off the mark. Only kidding. Iraq is the worst place I have ever been to closely followed by India. I'll take my chances at the Showground and the new jersey will be on!

I had some friends go there late last year. They were a couple in their early 30"s with a small child. They said that the Bulldogs supporters, with backgrounds of a certain ethnicity, shared a common goal - isolate & intimidate.

Good on you guys for going to the show ground. I hope there are no incidents and that it is a good game.

I've got a mate in his 50s who says the lebanese fans are an absolute disgrace to the club and that the Aussie Bulldog supporters are ashamed of them. There's some good natured Bulldogs fans like the older generation and in particular the pom-pom brigade. But the lebanese thugs are f**king animals, sub humans, and the way they behave at the football is indicative of their contempt for our wider society in general.

Everyone who goes out there should stay in a group and stay safe. They only pick on you if youre outnumbered many times over.

I think its important to know that Lebanese are mainly divided between Christian & Muslim, at least among those who have arrived on these shores. I've know quite a few Christian Lebanese (and gone out with one) and found them readily adaptable to Aussie culture. I haven't really got to know any Muslim Lebanese, so I can't comment on that side of the coin, but I think to lumb a whole country into one boat (no pun intended) is a long straw.

Not too scared - birthday celebrations are tomorrow night and there's no way I'm having them at the Showground.

Must admit, though, my times watching the Sharks at the Showground in the past have always been pretty abysmal affairs. Not a place for those who aren't prepared for the general abuse you'll be receiving.
