I'm looking forward to those matches Oz, it will give us a true indication on where we stand against some of the big guns but I am confident we can match any of these sides based on what I have seen so far. Our organisation in attack is first class while our defence in the middle is watertight.

Our match against Penrith should be a beauty then we have Parra at Parra Stadium and barring any unforseen injuries, we will be running with our top team so there will be no excuses.

Joe - I had stern words to the ref after the game ;)I thought the penalty count should've been closer to 20-4. Monty Betham and co, filthy players they are

Cheers,

Oi, don't start hijacking this thread with useless dribble about Manly and the Warriors. ;)

Moffo, please let me know when you are going to start buying the hype so I can jack up the price and make a killing.:p

BTW Moffo, can you post this in the Raiders section next time? No need to keep us downtrodden and deny us of our rightful message count.

Geeez, first they win a few games, now they want to boost their post counts, what is next?

Perhaps a major sponsor on their jerseys? :eek:Any word on who it is Leg? Radio this morning was reporting that a 3yr $2m deal was about to be signed

Cheers,
Moffo

Not as good as the mighty Woodgers Raiders but it will do :D

Do you think the stripes on the side of the jersey are too wide? I love the lime jersey, the only thing i dont like is the wide stripes.

Cheers,

I wonder i we will be seeing a post mortem from our favourite publci servant disguised as a Dragons fan?

Kev, how did you see the match and did you enjoy the facilities Bruce Stadium had to offer?

p.s Bruce is the rightful name of our ground and it will never change as fas as I'm concerned.

Legend, does this mean you'll be gunning (and I use the term loosely) to have Johnboy Howard aspatron of The Raiders?
... in fact, please take him. He wore out his welcome at St George years ago.

I'm seeing on other forums that Bwaith may even be out for 6weeks or more.
I don't rate him as important to the Dogs outfit as say Joey is to the Knights, but still, he'll be a huge loss to the Dogs for the next six matches or so.
Never a good thing to lose your pretty boy...I mean playmaker.

I'm starting to buy the Canberra hype now.
Beating the Eels at Parra Stadium is no walk in the park. They seem to have done it all too comforatably. They probably should never have let the Eels catch up going into the tunnel 26-6, specially after a 32-6 lead just five minutes into the second stanza, but they did run out winners with a 14point margin.
Good win to the green machine. Top of the food chain now with the loss of the Broncos.
Anyone else buying the Raiders hype after this weekend?

All alone at the top for at least a fortnight, its a sweet feeling:)

We did let them back in at the end but it was mainly because Davico and Martin were injured and Germ was off the park.

Whether you believe the hype or not any fair judge of a football game would have to admit that guys like Davico, Ohara, Woolford and Schifcofske are playingworld classfooty. Davico and Ohara took the whole eels pack on at the start of the game and blew them of the park. Schif is right up there in the besthalf dozenplayers in the game and stand side by side with Lockyer, Johns, Jones etc.

The only downside is that it looks likewe will be without Davico, Martin and Wiki for the Dogs game and its going to make it near bloody hard to win. Its a tragedy for Davico if he misses origin because he and Bailey should be the starting blues front row.

Ed, do we know the extent of the Davico injury yet? We need Davico for the Dogs game but if he is unavailable I would run with this side:

Schif
Joel Monaghan
Phil Graham
Adam Mogg
Jamaal Lolesi
Mark Mclinden
Brad Drew
Jason Croker
Michael Hodgson
Ian Hindmarsh
Ryan O'Hara
Simon Woolford
Troy Thompson

Res:
Tyran Smith
Sean Rutgerson
Alan Tongue
????

What's the status of James Evans Ed? I'd be inclined to run with a four man forwards bench for the Dogs game as it will be physical. Who would you bring up from reggies for this game?

Apparently Davico will be back for the dogs game:D
Martin is gone for 6 weeks.

That's good news Ed about Davico. If he does play, I would just shift Thompson back to the bench. Man I wish Wiki was available for this game.

The main positive is we should have Martin and Michael Monaghan back on deck by the time we face the Warriors in round eleven. I'm not saying the other matches will be easy but if we continue to play the way we have been, we should be able to account for Penrith, Souths and Melbourne and then have the full squad back on deck for the Warriors game.
