Why so serious?

Truly, I have no idea what all the negativity is about in that other thread.
Seriously.
I thought it was a great game.
I watched it again this morning.
Some bits I rewound and watched over and over in slow-mo.
I plan on watching it a third time this arv with a few brews.

I thought it had everything.
One side a NSW Cup standard side, nothing more. Residing very bottom of the ladder in the welfare spot, with a pommie halfback who was on the bench for superleague 12 mths ago and a winger who couldn't catch a cold swimming starkers at the Arctic circle.

The other side. Where do you start.
Truly putting bums on seats and sending kayo subscriptions through the roof.
73% possession in the other mobs half and 380 sets in the red zone led to 2 scintillating tries. I must admit I've watched brayleys push over try 10 times already. Call me old fashioned but I do love when plan comes together- a move that has obviously been practiced to meticulous precision on the training paddock, and then to see it executed so beautifully in a game...pure delight.

Admired the way they went out to score points as they knew their F/A is putrid and looks like seeing them miss the finals. They knew they needed to turn that around and this meant winning - and winning big.
Thus they went about their task with a precise game plan to blow the bad news wabbits into orbit.

I am in awe of the 7.
A magician without a cape, but all the arm gestures. His spontaneous bag of tricks on show had the purists struggling for superlatives - a masterclass for any 7 to take notes, young or old.
How he attacks the line, playing straight with courage and gusto, drawing defenders in and sending runners over the try line time and time again.
His short kicking game, bamboozling the opposition, gaining repeat set after repeat set. The way he marshalls his troops, with frenetic energy in the attacking zone, sweep plays, decoys, angles. Little wonder we ran up the score we did.

The coach. A true tactician of the game.
Another masterclass.
Adopting this side a mere 3 years ago when they were languishing in the top 4 - they will make documentarys in years to come illustrating how he has blueprinted his own style on them to build one of the best sides in the also rans division - those trojans who make their living just outside the finals.
Who knows what goes on behind those 4 walls, but whatever this einstein of football did this week to draw this performance out of his team of juggernauts should be bottled. Just quietly - after 30 minutes last night I whispered to the guy snoring beside me "shit I hope we're not back on the roids!"

Hats off to us.
To the victor, the spoils.

Anyways, I'm off for another viewing.

I find a lot of your posts pretty funny.

but the constant bashing is getting boring. It’s almost like you hope they lose, so you can post a long winded bash post.

Don’t let the facts get in the way, that the 7 was a main factor in getting us home the previous 2 weeks and we are currently 3 wins in a row. Yeah it hasn’t been ideal and yeah there’s a few issues and it’s frustrating, but far out we could be cheering for St George, Souths, Cowboys, Tigers, or the Titans who would all be begging to be in our position.

I thought I gave them a rap.

"boring"...?
Yet you continue to read. And will continue to do so.

And just for the record. I couldn't give a flying f**k about the teams you've mentioned.
But I know none of them would be "begging" for a proven number 14 masquerading as their halfback.

Just in case you're not aware - which pretty sure you aint - we are winning nothing with hynes as 7. Absolutely farkall, and as time marches on we are fast becoming a bottom 8 side.
You do know what's next dont you?

Anyways - I meant what I said, I thought we were fantastic last night against weggie wabbits wonderful weserve grade wabbitohs.

If Fitz or Nicho ever go missing I’d be looking in your backyard. For the record we’ll finish 5th at worst this year and are still a fair chance to jag top 4. Surely you must be taking the piss watching that shit 3 times. I was wishing I was at the dentist watching it the first time.

I saw the thread title and thought "oh another Nicho thread. This time in reference to he looking like Heath Ledger"
Not too far off the mark I suppose....except Heath was truly great in this scene.
