i think the main point from the article is that tonga never felt comfortable when he was playing with parra because of the international pairing of centres that was in front of him at the time.

he went to the 'dogs as they had lost their main centres and has grabbed the opportunity presented to him with both hands. good luck to him. not many people could ever have forseen what would happen to the players that were in front of him at the time...

by the way, i have heard that he has a younger brother, aged 18/19 who is rated better than him and was trialling with parra and souths earlier in the year. has anyone else heard/know anything about him??

Let's see............. Hicks was in the top 5 line breakers in the comp while he was fit.........Torrens is one of the better one on one defenders around...........BOTH of them cost about 150K all up, and Tahu cost you guys what? 400K. I think that I will stick with Hicks and Torrens thanks.

You are a deadset dickhead, you just proven it, Tahu didn't sign with us for $400,000.......he signed for $280,000 you knob, secondly, Manly Have the one of the worst defences seen in years....and guess what! Hicks & Torrens are a main reason.

I would suggest that if someone with loads of talent like Tonga has had a physcological barrier facing him like two international centres which concerns him, Parramatta would have a programme in place that would deal with and develop such problems.
