Why we don't win at home.

Flanno says it every time....................ATTITUDE. WHY?
From memory, only one year outta the past decade (last year) have we been a powerhouse at home.
Me................I blame the ground announcer and his cronies.
Most of our blokes are barely outta their teens. They run onto the field with the fans cheering, the announcer saying how wonderful they are. Stars in their eyes, possibly thinking they are some sort of gods. What happens?...................WE LOSE!
On the other hand.....................away games. No fanfare, the crowd booing them. Obviously thinking to themselves `We'll show these barstuds'. What happens....................WE WIN!
Yep. Flanno's right. It IS attitude.

I think the players feel more relaxed when we play at home.

So yeah attitude issue.

I think we've thrown more at the opposition at away games this year.

At home we seem to have played more of a conservative attacking game.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Yes it's attitude.

We perform when we know we have to & put the cue in the rack when it doesn't matter so much.

We were all over the titans for a lot of that game but were not as switched on as 2 previous games.

I was thinking through the game, this is the knights game revisited, we were going to do enough to win, but then got our pants pulled down late.

Probably do us more good than harm.

Me thinks some of our lads might of been reading too munch of the newspapers prior to the kickoff.

And some of us Up Ups were already having the Tits scoreless and us breaking all time records.

What we really need is for our Bestus Everest All Time Greatest No1 Supporter to get into the sheds before kick off and give a motivational speech. The Leaners could become Lifters and the Lifters could become Leaners. That'll ferrk their heads enough to make them realise that they are a footy team that really needs to go for the full 70 minutes.

Enema at the gates sire!!! Lower the drawbridge & empty the moat then lads.

Bring hither our wine, women & hell, let them to sir Rodger Rectum if they're so inclined.

We must surrender the fortress at once, without as much as a whimper for we are men of the Shire!!!

Hoorah! Hoorah! Hoorah!

First up - Tits are a damn good side and very well coached. I backed them to make the 8 as their roster is very good and their attitude better.

had Donks beat at suncorp last week without at least 6 regular first graders.
Top team in last nite were always going to trouble us.

Secondly - and I mentioned this after round 2 - we have no respect for teams we don't consider contenders.

Our hard heads like Lewie and Gal and Heighno and Jimmy etc have done it all and are current premiers - mentally, our eyes are on september.

Teams like Tigers and knights and Tits and others will give us a shake because we're only interested in testing ourselves against Raiders, storm or Pennies or Cowboys.

It's attitude. 100%.

It's Flanno's challenge to get us into the 4 because we will drop games like last nite.

Go into any game in this comp without intensity and you'll get rolled.

Our first 5 minutes last night set the tone.

They'd train harder than that.

BEATG#1S officially M.I.A. since his polling took a dive. Captain's orders. I mean Harbouside's. One of them, anyway.

Besides, we definitely do NOT need any of his decline action rubbing off on our guys. They should simply follow Sen. Potato-Head's example and remain true to #AustralianValues. That is, deal with all manner of toxicity from behind the safety of their keyboards.

We have he mental attitude of the Cavs in the NBA.
Do enough during the season, but be mainly focussed on the finals.

I was there last night, it was a perfect night for football weather wise. I think they announced 13,000ish in attendance. All night i only saw 1 titans fan with his missus.
Absolute garbage to dish up at home to your fans. Merkins need a rocket up them big time.

Have at look at it this year

Round 8 Titans lose running 2nd last not rated
Round 7 Panthers Win, they are talked up the Gould factor again
Round 6 Storm Win, GF rematch we put in performance that says we are the champs
Round 5 Knight Win, we won in 2nd gear fell over line, in racing jockey put whip away too early but got home
Round 4 Eels Win, Another team talked up we went there and showed them this is how you win
Round 3 Dragons lose, Derby lose can never predict these games
Round 2 Raiders Win, another team talked up we go there make example of them
Round 1 Broncos loss, we are slow starters, and playing a team thats won nothing for more then 10 years.

So seems we lift against teams we believe will be in finals, Dragons exception as is derby

Play well as underdogs and play like a pack of kaarrnnts when we are favourites. We have won as underdogs 3 times this year and lost 3 times as heavy favourites (could have been 4 v Newie) Money to be made by backing the outsider in every Sharks game. If we were a horse you'd swab us!

It is simple really. The boyz have been too busy celebrating our 51st birthday. Its time they stopped the birthday partying and got focussed again.
