St George doesnt exist

My management tutor at uni confirmed for me that a joint venture is in other words a merger  so dont live in the past with achievements by 'St George'.

The present and cloudy future lies with St George Illawarra Ltd which has achieved jack all besides humiliating themselves.

You know the one thing that is quite funny and most St George supporters don't actually realise it....

It's the fact that their emblem is the most Ironic and Contradicting emblem in the game. St George, was a saint who was a Dragon Slayer.... And in the Emblem you can quite easily see that the St on the Horse is SLAYING the Dragon... And yet we hear all these chants... Go the Dragons...

So my question to you all is... Who are they Supporting... The St George, or the Dragons that are being slain?

And they call Sharks fans stupid???

We all know they arent supporting St George anymore as St George doesnt exist at an NRL level.

So my guess is they support the Dragons with which the emblem is an appropriate illustration of their existance to date. They have been slayed!

Good to see that you are enjoying this thread Reefy, truely ignorance is bliss.

So you know that most asians have no interest in rugby league? Clearly you don not know many asians.

I'm guessing from your posts that you are the Dragons manager of finance and really know a great deal about the Dragons. If the answer to that is yes I am, then goodo for you, maybe I am wrong, but if the answer is no, then I strongly insist that you keep to your own clubs affairs and try not to assume what is going on in other clubs.

You accuse me of not knowing much of the Dragons financial affairs...funny because you seem to lack knowledge in the Sharks financial affairs too.

Just an illustration of the comparison between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Cronulla Sharks - for those sharks fans that like to say we have achieved nothing....

In the Dragons first season, we achieved a Grand Final Birth..... What did the Sharks achieve in their maiden year?

Now before you all go crying on about how the Dragons had a 6.3million dollar team that year, just remeber that these were two completely different teams that had to bond as a team in one season.

I'm not assuming, it's common knowledge in News Limited Circles the state of the parties involved in the joint venture. In fact, all clubs affairs are common knowledge.

You insist do you?

tell your MANAGEMENT tutor he/she is wrong

ST George and Illawarra still are separate companies

They have a joint venture company which they run together (ST GEORGE ILLAWARRA)

therefore there is definitely no merger

a merger is when two or more companies intertwine assets and managerment structures ot become one company

st george and illawarra have definitely not become one company

they have created one that they run together

however st george and illawarra still live on

what tafe do you go to

LOFTUS???

I go to Wollongong Uni Dimi. Never heard of being able to do Commerce/Law degree at tafe champ.

The bottom line is they dont not live on at a first grade and premier league level. Therefore the feats of St Geaorge at a first grade level are now irrelevant. Its now St George Illawarra that is the concern.

You can go on about St George's flegg, ball and matthews cup successes all you want which i dont think anyone gives two hoots about.
