How could Wayne endorse price and young, the mind boggles !
Sabotage ?

Did he ?
Or did he just do what anyone would.
Endorse those you leave behind.
Maybe with good intent, who knows.
Fact is, the board has been negligent on this front.

Not sure about Widdop being out but the tip i got today was Quinlan at fullback and Dugan in the centres fpr Monday

That's great...while we're at it lets put Marshall in the front row and make Hunt the half back.....fair dinkum whats with our mob.....don't we have up and comers ready to fill specialised positions...if we don't then bloody well sack our development recruiters.....

It is like moving Inglis to center to have nathan merritt at fullback!

Exactly if this happens it is Dumb,Dumb,Dumb.
Dugan is a dynamite kick returner & is probably our only strong point now that Brett is gone.
It's not as if there are no other options.Quinlan IMO is an able backup if Dugan is injured but he is not good enough to weaken one of the most important positions on the field to fit him in.How many other clubs would move their fullback for Quinlan?
I hope Dugan is ok with this or else it could lead to problems.

From most media reports it sounds like Dugan and McGregor are doing it to try and sneak Dugan into an origin jersey. Sad reflection on our club when our games are just being used as experimentation for origin selection.

You are right the board has been lazy and negligent , as i've posted before since when has it been an outgoing coach's task to recommend a successor, but there will continue to be people on here who lay the blame on Bennett whilst ignoring the ineptness of management. As you say TRU what else would BENNETT say, he wouldve got on with PRICE and wouldn't have wanted to say anything less than positive , I think the fact that it took them 2 1/2 years to see what most but not all on here could see in 6 months ,speaks volumes for their perception and awareness.

Benji may do a better job than HUNT in the front row BSE .:D

THIS ^^^^^

I'm sure his defence will be tested as SOUTHS are sure to run plenty at him ,not an easy position to defend when you dont play there much .

Don't have a problem with Dugan in the centres and Quinlan at fullback,Adam is more than capable and played well against Souffs last year when we beat them.
Or do people still prefer Green in the side FFS.It's our bench which worries me and has for 3 years.

Bennett endorsed Price and thought JMOz was not good enough for centre. 2 pretty bad calls which impacted the Dragons long term. I would not be taking advice from him any more seriously.

McGregor is in the NSW coaching staff. If Dugan plays centre tonight I bet it is because Daley has probably asked to see if he can handle it to see if he can play there for the Blues.

Good to see the Dragons team is being used to experiment players like a NSW Blues selection trial game. It's not as if Saints need to 2 points tonight. WTF

Quinlan was in the halves that game last year. It would make more sense for him to play in the halves although last time he was there (also the last time he played first grade) he played in the halves against Souths and we got smashed.

Green at centre is a much better choice than moving Dugan from fullback and putting Quinlan there FFS

Quinlan at FB gives him the opportunity to roam ,and if you think Green is better there at centre I challenge you to get someone here to support your view because it is ridiculous.

IMO you are right Watatank.
FFS people Quinlan is too small & souths have a very good kicking game.

Moving Dugan from fullback, given the options available is the ridiculous move. Why would we move our best player with less time and space to do what he does, take him away from the kick returns and have Souths targeting Quinlan all night? All for what, to cover for Morris?

Green at centre in the contet of what I provided is a much better option. It would make more sense to put Runciman on the wing (or centre, Beale wing).

Makes sense ,they seem to be shuffling positions to accomodate Quinlan because of his size AND IMO is extremeley overrated.

Mata'Utai in the centres and Quinlan on the wing for me. Or Runciman at centre or wing. Please not Green, he is shocking. Leave Duges at the back. Unless Duges is asking for a change there to boost his chances of an Origin recall seeing Hayne will have a mortgage on the No.1 for a while and about time too.

Good to see Mary is putting a backup hooker on the bench? He is showing some faith in the juniors and applying some pressure on Rein. About time.
