Will Anthony Griffin coach in the NRL again?

However, there is certainly a possibility that Griffin will join the host of 1 hit wonder coaches who have vanished into oblivion after short stints as an NRL coach.

Henjak, Moore, Rick Stone & even Daniel Anderson spring to mind.

Pretty sure Daniel Anderson coached at 2 NRL clubs.

He will probably get a gig at a desperate club like Cronulla or Canberra if they decide to offload Stuart. Dunno about Knights.

Should pick something up in the next couple of years I would say. Brought through some very good young kids from the 20's to FG at the Bronx

A lot will depend on the rest of this season, I do find it amusing that as soon as hes canned by the broncos hes suddenly a decent coach and not the dumb hick other clubs fans have said he is the last 2 and a bit seasons. Is it just sympathy? for the record I have always believed he can coach but hes not quite well rounded enough to get a side to be consistent performers.

With Sticky coaching the Raiders and Brian Smith being allowed to destroy Wests what significance is there in Hook getting a gig . . . the bloke wouldn't come anywhere near being as detrimental as these f**kwits

If a coach can't make a go of it in Brisbane then he doesn't have much of a future imo.

You are not going to get a better set of resources anywhere else in the NRL.

Everything to do with the football department at the Broncos is top notch and state of the art. The place is a coaches dream and all the other NRL teams know this.

The only way I can see Griffin getting a run elsewhere is as a support for someone else. Unless he goes to Superleague.

There wasn't much wrong with Monaghan on the field, just as there's not enough wrong with Griffin to lambast him. No worse than grown men watching rubbish cartoons

I'm not sure where I have "lambasted" him. But it's of my opinion any coach worth his salt should be able to get what is the best resourced club in the NRL, to the top of the ladder.

I'd hate to see how he would go at Canberra or Newcastle at the moment.

That's the point, Griffin and even the little bloke before him never had a shot at the 'best resourced club', Melbourne made sure of that, the same reason Benny 'hated' the Storm. By the time Bennett said he needed a change the Broncos were running out of ammunition

Are the Titans even financially stable enough to pay two coaches at once?

That said, I think he'll wind up at the Tigers (if the rumours of Potter are true), but it'd be funny if he took over Newcastle and got them to the GF within 2 years
