I don't know how to link but yeah I just read it. Good signing. Hoppa has been criticised a lot this year and certainly hasn't lived up to his pay packet. But he is a thoroughbred and has been solid, with glimpses of magic. Parra need to offload him to get under the cap so we may pick up a gun at a discount and we definitely need a centre. Would be a great score. Cross fingers.

He was a liability in origin as well.

Yeap he would be disappointed in some of his performances. I was shocked by his origin selection. But he is a potential gun. He is young. He has had a few years out of the game and hasn't quite got there yet. He is injury free. If we took a risk on Benji at a discounted price after failures at the Tigers (final years) and rugby you would certainly take the plug on Hoppa. Obviously it is price dependent.

More than happy to have him especially if the price is right.
We do need strike power out wide & at his best he brings this with the added bonus of playing fullback. This year was always going to be a tough one for him after being out of the game.Will imo only get better.

He was also having dramas with his contract and payments, in typical parra style, last I heard it was lawyers and handbags at 12 paces! So if there is some contra deal, to pick him up cheapest, should be ok. But at same time Duffie from Storm may be moved on to......who is better value???
