Perhaps a change of clubs is exactly what he needs. He played some great footy at Manly, hasn't been able to replicate that form at Parramatta.

Sign that homie! Everyone knows he has been grossly overpaid at Parra but they have a habit of turning good players into crap. Signing players whose old clubs are still paying a significant % of their salary is always good. Just ask the Shonkies about Gerald Beale. Hardly a superstar but I would bet the Dragons are still paying about half or more of his salary. Get Robbie Farah also and then all the Dragons need is one good winger to be a really good team.

Never know what a new club can bring out of a player. Maybe he needs that change.

I'll take him if signing is true. Won't be worse on what we already have.

What strike power does he provide,he isn't a gun or elite player going off his last 2 seasons,I can understand the reticence from Parra to give him elite money because he isn't.

If the eels are way over the cap we might get him for 400k. He is worth that. Bear in mind he is young and had a good run with injuries.

Before he went on his mission he was such an outstanding player?
I'm not sure what has changed since then but Parra have a history of turning decent players into shit players.
I'd take him for the right money and hope he can regain the form that saw him play rep footy.

Can play Fullback, Centre, Wing

Should be our right centre - in a backline w Duges, Benji, Widdop, Mann, Nightingale he will shine..

Now sign a top class winger!!! Something from the UK will do

i call bullshit on this rumour.

Duffie looks like either staying at the Storm or back home to the Warriors.

Kalifa fai fai loa is still on the cards as the Titans are having a good clean out also K Gordon might be an option to.

Hoppa would be a great signing. Has loads of experience and behind a good pack with great halves will be a perfect fit in the centers. Saints need some more experience in the backs and he has it in spades with origin and Finals experience. He did win a GF at Manly right?

Gordon can save them airfares by flying to interstate & NZ games on his magic carpet

IMO we desperately need and outside back especially one with a ton of speed some other ideas might be (bearing in mind it's slim pickings at current)

-Matt Duffie (Relatively cheap but also very injury prone)
-Sam Perrett (Reliable but age could be a problem)
-Reece Robinson (very underrated for mine)
-David Williams (age and off-field dramas could be a problem plus also injury prone)
-Kalifi Fai-Fai Loa (Inconsistent)
-Daniel Vidot (as above)
-Cheyse Blair (as above)

As long as it's at reasonable price

Was a gun in 2011

But then he went & ruined his life - he got married

hahah
i suspect the 2 years away from the game has hurt him more than he might of thought it would.
seems to have lost some pace, and more importantly the physical aspect to his game has gone...

Not for anything over 300k. Classic case of peaking at 20 ! A lot slower. Only hope for him is to develop himself into a back rower.

PASS.

We should be looking at josh Charnley from Wigan. Surprised no other nrl club has picked him up yet. One of England's best

Robinson is the pick of the bunch for me. Fast, good feet, excellent finisher. Can cover fullback as well as wing (would come in handy during the origin period). At this stage he would walk into our side.

I remember when Raiders sacked Dugan and moved Robinson moved to fullback - his performances had Raiders fans saying "Josh who?" and he was even being talked up as a possible Origin bolter.

He only fell out of favour when Ricky Stuart arrived for reasons only Ricky Stuart understands.

Robbo is excellent at times in attack but he's a gutless defender and doesn't give a sh*t half the time. Ask Raiders fans, they saw plenty of it during his time down in Canberra. Fast, scores some great tries but hates the tough stuff

i read an interview with charnley about two years ago apparently we were sniffing about but he said it was too hard to leave England and his mother, he's from a single parent household and he's pretty close to his mum and supports her financially a bit too!
