Further to 2 True Blues' comments about the PL, it's amazing that there are some people in the NSWRL that are continually pushing for the JBC to be promoted in the media ahead of PL. The PL has teams that people can associte with, it's proven that they can get the crowds to their games and they have better standard of players. So why would the NSWRL want to show the JBC on Foxtel? Why do the RL media put the JBC head of the PL in paper's like RL Review and RL Week (Weak)? How many people really care about the JBC or the clubs involved? I'd have a guess at less than a thousand, compared with the PL it's peanuts.
Time to get the PL on the ABC where it belongs and leave the JBC at Mc Creadie.

ABC coverage of PL games would be a dead set winner just like their coverage of QLD cup games up here in the sunshine state.
The silent majority fans would love to see the old traditional teams playing each other. Take it even further and discard some of the nancy boy fashion statements called jerseys and get teams back into there more traditional playing strips of yesteryear in which the mighty jets have never strayed from. Its a common sense direction for rugby league coverage, pity the NSWRL cannot see it.

Good idea in theory greg but the League is nt encouraging teams to remain traditional. They want JBC clubs playing in PL. This would seriously undermine the potential of a NSWRL competition.

They also dont have as a large a following as they would actually like in the 1st grade I reckon, so promote that first at all times, and see anything else as actually competing with that cause.

Thus lack of Premier league promotion.
