Yeah well they buggered it up with the big block of Pirtek...if they went stripes around the Pirtek would be much better but I loved it...reminds me of when we would play finals in the 80's and suddently bring this one out!!!

The yellow jersey in 1981 had a big block of "Hardie's" on the front. But I think it had 5 blue stripes not 4 as shown above. I like this retro jersey. Mine even has the sleeve sponsors.

I for one love yellow retro jersey, the pirtek sign (maybe pirtek should make a specific one for us) needs stripes as the majority have stated. Can somebody call nike or adidas as they are the kings of making strips lok good. Just look at aston villa in the epl they had horrible jerseys until nike got to them !

As far as the logo goues it doesnt really look good on my eels bar fridge so im all for going back to the old logo which really represents us ! Whoever designed our new logo should be shot !

Yeah I agree with you on that, the late 90s stripey jersey is the only one I haven't bought over the last 30 years it was awful.

Agreed there EELICIT, adidas also make awesome training gear, polo's, casual t shirts, wind cheaters etc etc, just look at the big football teams Real Madrid, Liverpool, AC Milan, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, River Plate. Class
