Taking a sponsors car without a license? :-s wtf?

I will tell you the story (which gives an indication to what the media is really like).

I was overseas and use to read the Tele online just about every day. Now it was in February. There was a test match being played involving Australia. The Super 14s were about to start and as I got to the Sport section guess what was the backpage headline ? Story about Willie Mason who was driving a car provided by a sponsor without a license. I think it was the start of 2006....

Mason has done all that and can put that Williams (Joke) in his place, Anasta has also played for Australia, NSW, Won a Premiership and played over 100 first grade games... Williams and anyone who sicks up for him need to look at themselves!

Which gives him the right to catch a taxi home, and not pay the fare? Gives him the right to humiliate a 2gb news reporter in front of all his mates, forcing her into tears? It also gives him the right to use an illicit social drug, then be fined $25 000? Gives him the right to forge another player's signature at an autograph event??

I don't understand where your coming from. 2 wrongs don't make a right. It's like the blind leading the blind here. Willie Mason needs to learn respect himself, before he is to tell others to go learn some. You my friend, are just a biased Canterbury fan, so I won't take you seriously from now on in....

Personally i think it's a disgrace how the media blows the simplest of things up when it involves a sporting personality.

It's akin to how celebrity magazines will take a photo of Angelina Jolie with the sun in her eyes, hence striking an angry looking squinting pose, and slam a headline next to the photo 'Angelinas FURY - is BRAD CHEATING?' :LOL:

I have been to the Empire, and Coogee bay and seen my fair share of "incidents" involving players. Some players have incidents covered up...others dont.
