That said, for a club to throw away a player at the back end of a huge back-ended contract, in a strict Salary Cap world, means they were desperate to get rid of him. Something hasn't made the papers meethinks.

Then again, who knows? He's a character - the game sorely needs them after thrusting forth dribblers with no mental development into the limelight.
Yeah but I think that might have to do with Brian Smith's imfamous taking out of the trash.
Whether or not Willie is trash, will be determined this year.

They'll be too busy licking each others arses out.
I mean really, like your rediculously biased Raiders flavoured posts aren't enough, you have to use even filthier language!

Many clubs wanted Mason and quite a few negotiatd with him only only to back away at board room level which caused me to wonder if the clubs were persuaded to not sign the player. This morning the Telegraph reported Gallop rang the N.Q. chief executive to express his dissatisfaction to the C.E.O. Did Parr do something wrong?

These articles in the Tele sound more like dreams that Bec Wilson had the night before transcribed onto paper.

This is the same day's paper that had an article stating the IOC had banned an Australian Ice Skater from wearing a bracelet that had her deceased friends name on it.

Which turned out to a be a total untruth, with the skater herself stating that she never wore it in competition anyway!
